Tennis star Aisam Ul Haq, through his foundation Stop War Star Tennis, and Rizq collectively have initiated the #StarsAgainstHunger movement, where they have rallied national and global superstars to donate their signed memorabilia which will be auctioned to feed families across Pakistan.
Sports personalities who came forward to support Aisam’s #StarsAgainstHunger initiative include Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Grigor Dimitrov, Saniya Miirza, Jahangir Khan, Shoaib Malik, Shoaib Akhtar, Wasim Akram, Amir Khan & Sarfaraz Ahmed to name a few.
Leading this remarkable initiative from the front Pakistan’s number 1, and the only Pakistani ever to reach a GrandSlam final, Aisam ul Haq donated his shirt which he wore in 2017 and won his first title of 2017.
Fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has donated to Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi’s charity drive a prized memorabilia from his personal collection – a Kolkata Knight Riders helmet, signed by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, he had received as player-of-the-match award in the 2008 Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
Aisam also extended his sincere gratitude to all his friends for donating and joining the movement of #StarsAgainstHunger which will help them feed 100,000 food insecure families. He also encouraged all to come forwatd and Join this movement and help create a #HungerFreePakistan.
