24 Karat and 22 Karat Gold Prices
The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also saw a decline, dropping by Rs. 1,201 to Rs. 207,047 from Rs. 208,248. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold decreased to Rs. 189,793 from Rs. 190,894, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
Silver Prices Increase
In contrast, the prices of silver per tola and per 10 grams rose by Rs. 100 and Rs. 85.76 respectively. Silver was sold at Rs. 2,850 per tola and Rs. 2,443.41 per 10 grams.
International Market Trends
The decrease in local gold prices mirrored the trends in the international market, where the price of gold fell by $43. The international price of gold dropped to $2,320 from $2,363, as reported by the Association.
