• When and how did you first become interested in music? How long have you been playing music?

I have been singing since my childhood and have been blessed to get appreciation since. Received awards as i started performing in School and College. 2013 was the first time i actually performed with music and that was at a Tribute to legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sb, where 40-50 trained and Ustad Singers performed and there i was fortunate enough to get a standing ovation and was declared as the most favorite performer at the event. This is when I decided to learn music and decided to make a name for myself and my country. Now its been 5 years since i am performing & making music and yet every day is a learning opportunity for me.

• Does anyone in your family play music?

No, I’m first.

• What else do you do besides play music?

I am a Lyricist as well & love to write.

• Please share your experience of performing & winning hearts at Nesfruta Funkaar?

It was a very challenging experience for me, but as i already mentioned that I’m making, performing and learning music since last five years, alongside I have written and composed several things which are my own creation and henceforth, nesfruta’s platform was very amazingly suitable for me as first time in sub-continent a reality show is made where an artist was set to perform with complete originality. This was an honor for me as i was selected as Lyricist, Music Composer and was titled as the most versatile Singer of the show by respected Akhtar Quyyum (Selection Committee/Head of content). All in all, I performed with my full efforts and got amazing responses by all genres, specially in Sufi Rock, playback then classical too.

For me it was one of the biggest opportunity that came in and Alhamdu Lillah I was the most favorite artist among all on the floor of Nesfruta Funkaar’s Platform as per social media research results.
