World’s largest mobile messaging platform WhatsApp will soon have Voice calling feature. As per reports the company has been currently testing the feature with a small percentage of Android users before it officially unveils the service .
However, it is not clear as yet when the feature may be rolled out on a bigger scale.
As tweeted by some users who have experienced the feature call it much like the voice calling on Viber, Facebook Messenger and WeChat, using which users can make a phone call, provided they have a Wi-Fi or 3G connection.
As per the company the much awaited feature is in its testing phase as yet.
As per last months official statement of the company, WhatsApp had hit 700 million monthly active users who exchange more than 30 billion messages a day on the app. Soon after, WhatsApp introduced a web-based version of the service, which is available to some users.
