PSX Summary 14th Jan 2022: The KSE 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed slight bullish trend on Friday, goes up nominally by 0.25 points to close at 45,763.45 points against 45,763.20 points on the last working day.
A total of 239,976,578 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 327,601,103 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs6.096 billion against Rs6.481 billion the previous day.
As many as 350 companies transacted shares in the stock market, 136 of them recorded gain and 194 sustained losses, whereas the share price of 20 companies remained unchanged.
The three top trading companies were Unity Foods Ltd with a volume of 26,268,365 shares and price per share of Rs1.12, WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 25,139,500 and price per share of Rs2.47 and Cnergyico Pk with volume of 23,680,163 and price per share of Rs7.16.
Unilever Foods witnessed a maximum increase of Rs166 per share, closing at Rs20490 whereas the runner up was Nestle Pakistan, the share prices of which climbed up by Rs124.25 to Rs5524.25.
Premium Tex witnessed maximum decrease of Rs39.98 closing at Rs610.01 followed by Siemens Pak XD, the share price of which declined by Rs19 to close at Rs625.
