Mohabbat has started building its central conflicts after two episodes on Geo TV. The 7th Sky Entertainment drama stars Feroze Khan, Nawal Saeed, Aina Asif and Shahvir Kadwani in important roles. Written by Shafia Khan and directed by Asad Jabal, the drama explores love, family pressure, class differences and complicated relationships.
The first two episodes have introduced the main characters and established several conflicts that could shape the story ahead. While Episode 1 brought attention to Shahvir Kadwani’s debut as Zarrar, Episode 2 moved the story forward with Yahya and Asiya’s relationship taking centre stage.
Mohabbat Episodes 1 and 2 Develop the Main Conflicts
Episode 1 introduced Shahvir Kadwani as Zarrar, who quickly became one of the most discussed characters. In one scene, Zarrar defended his friend at a university and confronted a senior who had been misbehaving with him.
The scene drew attention online, with several viewers criticizing Shahvir’s acting and questioning his casting. Some social media users called him a “parchi,” a term used for someone believed to have received an opportunity through connections. Shahvir is making his television acting debut with Mohabbat, while his father, Abdullah Kadwani, is one of the producers behind the drama.
Episode 2 shifts the focus toward Yahya and Asiya, played by Feroze Khan and Nawal Saeed. Yahya has developed strong feelings for Asiya and takes a step forward by inviting her to dinner. Asiya remains hesitant, partly because of the social differences between them.
Their relationship soon faces opposition from Yahya’s mother, Saleha Begum, played by Savera Nadeem. She strongly objects to Asiya and looks down on her family background. Saleha describes Asiya as an ordinary, lower-middle-class girl and suggests that she wants to enter their wealthy family.
Yahya refuses to accept his mother’s judgment. He stands up for Asiya and makes it clear that his feelings have nothing to do with money or social status. He argues that wealth cannot replace genuine love and emotional connection.
The episode also begins developing another storyline involving Zarrar and Meharma, played by Shahvir Kadwani and Aina Asif. Their growing proximity has caught the attention of the elders, suggesting that their relationship could create another source of tension within the family.

With these developments, Mohabbat has already established multiple relationship conflicts. Yahya and Asiya face a clear class divide, while Zarrar and Meharma’s developing dynamic hints at another challenge for the family.
The first two episodes have therefore laid the groundwork for a story driven by love, social expectations and family opposition. As the drama progresses, the choices made by Yahya, Asiya, Zarrar and Meharma could further challenge the boundaries set by their families.
