Karachi , Thursday , August 10 , 2017 : To celebrate the 70th Independence Day of Pakistan , the organizing committee of Pakistan Excellence Award held an awards ceremony here earlier today to pay tribute to the movers and shakers of Pakistan .
People hailing from diverse fields who have done significant work for Pakistan were bestowed the Pakistan Excellence Awards . Addressing the audience , Chairman of Pakistan Excellence Award said ” Freedom is a blesssing . 70 years ago , our forefathers sacrficed a lot to attain this country , which we have been celebrating every year . In this same vein some of our friends decided to lay the foundation of Pakistan Excellence Awards through which we would honour people who have done tremendous work for Pakistan . We would like to congratulate all the award recipients of Pakistan Excellence Award , and also wish the people of Pakistan a very happy Independence Day . ”
One of the patrons of Pakistan Excellence Award , Muhammad Iqbal Qureshi said , ” Pakistan is a blessing given to us by Allah , and not only is it our duty to safeguard her , but it is also our responsibility to strengthen it and set it on the path of success . On this great occasion we wanted to salute the amazing personalities of Pakistan through these awards so as to encourage them , as well as other citizens to do similar work for our great country . ”
While addressing the event , another patron of Pakistan Excellence Award , Anwar Sangi said , ” We love our country and its people and it is our duty to encourage our countrymen , especially on this joyous occasion of 70 years of Independence . We have organized this event for the same reason and are thankful to the award winners from the bottoms of our hearts .
The Chairman of Medicam Company , Khalil Nanitalwala said , ” Life is the second name for struggle . For the idea of freedom , our forefathers strived to attain independence , and achieved it through perseverance . Now it’s our duty to embrace the struggle and celebrate our independence with zeal and zest , and tell the people of the world that we are an alive Nation . For this very reason , under the Pakistan excellence awards forum , we are paying tribute to people . ”
