Maula Jatt 2 in the Making

After Wehshi Jatt and sequel Maula Jatt in London, its now in news that the sequel of Maula Jatt, Maula Jatt 2, is in the making and the person behind the camera is none other than ace director of superhit film ‘Waar’, Mr.Bilal Lashari.

Bilal Lashari earlier commented “My version of Maula Jatt will be a visual epic, with less dialogue and many captivating moments. It will be a dark but stylized take on Pakistan’s original film genre.

The original ‘Maula Jat’ was directed by Younis Malik and produced by Sarwar Bhatti. The film saw some remarkable performances by actor Sultan Rahi in the lead role and with Aasia and Mustafa Qureshi as the villain Noori Natt. Maula Jatt was a classic, a film that received critical and popular acclaim.

As per sources, Bilal Lashari is in USA these days and working with top Hollywood Cinematographers for Maula Jatt 2. Seen in the pictures is Bilal Lashari with with Legendary Cinematographer Dean Cundy of (Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Apollo 13, Who Framed Roger Rabbit) and Vilmos Zsigmond. (Deer Hunter, Close Encounters of the Third Kind) .
