Honda has once again increased its bike prices in Pakistan up to Rs. 20,000/- with effect from 5th August 2023.
The prices of Honda bikes in Pakistan have increased due to several factors one of which is the devaluation of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar. As most of the parts used in Honda bikes are imported, a weaker Pakistani rupee means that Honda has to pay more for procurement of these components.
Talking about the numbers sale of Honda motorcycles went down 22.96 per cent from 678,655 units in last year to 522,770 units during the current year.
Honda CD 70 Price in Pakistan
According to the new price list issued by the automobile giant, the price of the most selling unit of Honda CD 70 has increased to Rs. 157,900/-, after a hike of Rs.3,000/-.
Honda CG 125 Price in Pakistan
The price of the second most famous bike of the company, Honda CG 125, has been increased by Rs.5,000/-, taking the rate to record Rs.234,900/-.
Honda CD Dream & Pridor Price in Pakistan
Honda CD Dream will now cost Rs. 168,900/-, as it sees a surge of Rs. 3000/-, and Honda Pridor has been increased by Rs.5,000/- to reach Rs.208,900/-.
Honda CB 150 F SE Price in Pakistan
Price of top of the line Honda CB 150 F SE has been increased to Rs.497,900/- after an increase of Rs.20,000/-.
The sale of motorbikes and three-wheelers in the country has witnessed a decrease of 32.47 percent during the first seven months of the current fiscal year (2022-23) as compared to sales of the corresponding period of the last year.
During the months under review, as many as 737,393 motorbikes and three-wheelers were sold against the sale of 1,092,013 units in July-January (2021-22), according to the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA).
The sale of Suzuki motorcycles, however, witnessed an increase of 8.21 percent from 21,240 units in last year to 22,985 units during the months under review, whereas the sale of Honda motorcycles dipped by 23.26 percent from 798,657 units to 612,817 units.
