With a heavy starcast & message oriented storyline drama serial ALIF has a lot to offer

The most discussed and awaited drama of the year 2019 ALIF holds upon a star studded cast of Hamza Ali Abbasi, Sajal Ali, Nouman Ejaz, Ahsan khan and Kubra Khan. More exclusively is the addition of Iqra- rul- Hassan’s son Pehlaaj to the cast of the drama Alif, Pehlaaj is going to delineate the childhood phase of Hamza Ali Abbasi character. However Osman Khalid Butt will be seen making cameo in the drama serial.

ALIF has been penned down by Umera Ahmed returning to TV industury after a period of 6 years. Directed by ace Haseeb Hassan of Man Mayyal and Parwaz Hai Junoon and is produced by Sana Shahnawaz and Samina Humayun Saeed.

Hamza Ali Abbasi as Qalb-e-Momin and Sajal Ali as Momina will be seen playing a lead role in the drama. Alif drama will mark Hamza and Sajal first project together. Hamza Ali Abbasi revealed that the serial has a really strong message for the society and he is always in search of projects that can convey some meaningful message to the audience.

Not revealed much by the makers but drama serial Alif will present the concept of spirituality in a unique way as the name itself suggest “Alif” which is the reversed first letter of Allah name.

The drama is slated to be on aired on Hum TV this year. Whereas the shooting was initiated in June 2018. Other than a story that will be a meaningful message and some great content due to the ace writer along with A-list category cast, the drama serial Alif would be visually appealing to the audience due to the fascinating and captivating locations of Turkey, some Northern areas of Pakistan and Karachi it will be shot in. Moreover this will be the first time that a drama will characterize the story of a film maker.
