Ex-PM Benazir Bhutto remembered on Her 16th Death Anniversary

Today marks the 16th year since the untimely demise of the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto. Commemorative activities are set to unfold at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, where meticulous preparations have been made to ensure a fitting tribute to this iconic figure.

In Garhi Khuda Buksh, the shrines dedicated to the martyrs have been adorned with banners and party flags, creating an atmosphere that is both somber and respectful. Carpets have been laid out, providing a seating arrangement for party workers, while walk-through gates have been strategically placed at shrine entrances to facilitate the gathering.

Prominent leaders, including PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto, Asif Ali Zardari, and other central figures, have converged in Larkana to partake in the anniversary event. Benazir Bhutto met her fate in a gun and bomb attack just weeks before the 2007 general elections.
