A tragic incident shocked the capital city of Pakistan this week as Sana Yousuf, a young and rising TikToker, was fatally shot outside her home in Islamabad. The murder took place in Sector G-13 within the jurisdiction of Sumbal Police Station, triggering widespread outrage both online and across the country.
Sana, who hailed from Upper Chitral and had built a growing online following, was reportedly approached by a man outside her residence. According to police sources, the suspect engaged in a brief conversation with her before opening fire at close range. She was struck by two bullets and died on the spot. Her body was later shifted to PIMS Hospital, where a postmortem was conducted before being handed over to her family.
Police Capture TikToker Sana Yousuf Suspect Within Hours
In a swift and commendable response, Islamabad Police tracked down and arrested the prime suspect. This happen within 20 hours of the incident. The accused, who hails from Punjab, has confessed to the crime, according to officials.
Law enforcement authorities also recovered the murder weapon and Sana Yousuf’s iPhone from the suspect during the operation. The motive behind the murder is currently under investigation, but police confirm that the case is being handled with urgency and care.

Interior Minister Praises Swift Action
