Geo TV has released the first teaser for its upcoming television drama based on the life of Shaheed Captain Isfandyar Ahmad Bukhari. The project pays tribute to the young Pakistan Army officer who embraced martyrdom during the terrorist attack on PAF Camp Badaber in Peshawar on September 18, 2015.

Drama honors the life of a national hero
Captain Isfandyar Ahmad Bukhari was born in Attock in 1988 and served in the Pakistan Army with distinction. During the terrorist attack on PAF Camp Badaber, he led his troops with courage before embracing martyrdom in the line of duty.
The Government of Pakistan later honored him with the Tamgha e Jurat for his bravery. During his training at the Pakistan Military Academy, he also earned the prestigious Sword of Honour, one of the academy’s highest achievements.
His legacy continues through several national tributes. A road in Karachi carries his name, while the District Headquarters Hospital in Attock, where he was born, was renamed Captain Isfandyar Bukhari Shaheed District Hospital in his honor.

The upcoming drama is directed by Haseeb Hassan, who previously directed the acclaimed military based drama Jo Bichar Gaye. The script comes from Abid Hassan Bukhari, while Geo TV and 7th Sky Entertainment are producing the project.
The cast features Ali Ammar in the lead role alongside Hina Afridi, Nauman Masood, Salma Hasan, Tauseeq Haider, Hina Bayat, Saad Azhar, Umer Darr, Nayyer Ejaz, and Hassan Niazi.
