TikToker and influencer Samiya Hijab has stirred controversy once again after claiming that the public’s mindset is to blame for her choice of revealing clothes.
Samiya, who gained fame after filing a case against her ex-fiancé for an alleged kidnapping attempt, later settled the matter out of court and moved to Dubai, where she now lives. Since relocating, the influencer has been sharing pictures and videos of her life abroad, often drawing criticism for her bold outfits and social media content.
Recently, Samiya addressed the backlash in her latest statement, alleging that society itself is responsible for how she dresses. She said that the negative attitudes and judgmental nature of people pushed her toward wearing shorter clothes.
She also referenced Rajab Butt, saying that even he was not spared from criticism, adding that “the entire society, government, and people are responsible for how I live.”
