Overwhelming news for all the Dirilis: Ertugrul fans as Engin Altan Duzyatan landed in Pakistan on a short visit on Thursday – the main lead of the historical Turkish series Dirilis: Ertugrul.
In the Turkish drama series Dirilis, Engin Altan Duzyatan played the role of Ertugrul. And gained popularity worldwide especially in Pakistan for his outstanding acting skills and good looks.
Engin’s arrival in Pakistan on Twitter was announced by the Pakistan Embassy in Turkey and he shared a picture of Ertugrul after landing at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport on Thursday morning.
The lead actor arrived in Pakistan at the invitation of a private company, according to the information.

Engin Altan Düzyatan came to Istanbul to act after graduating in 2001 and began working for the Kenter and DOT Theater. He also directed a play at the State Theater of Diyarbakır. He took part, along with Hazal Kaya and Naz Elmas, in the Beymen Club 2010 collection.
He made his screen debut in the television series Ruhsar and went on to appear in Yeditepe İstanbul, Koçum Benim and Alacakaranlık. In 2005, he acted in the films Beyza’nın Kadınları directed by Mustafa Altıoklar and Kalbim Zamanı.
In 2007, Düzyatan appeared in the series Sevgili Dünürüm with Haluk Bilginer, Sumru Yavrucuk and Nevra Serezli. His next roles were in the films Cennet (2008) and Mezuniyet (2009). In 2009, he played Doctor Serdar Batur in the series Bir Bulut Olsam with Melisa Sözen and Engin Akyürek, written by Meral Okay.
He also worked in a new series in Kanal D titled, Cinayet. From 2014 until 2019, he has starred in the TV series named Diriliş: Ertuğrul playing a leading role. This performance has taken him to next level making him a leading celebrity and talk of the town.
