To secure entry permits for Roza-e-Rasool, individuals are now mandated to utilize either the Nusuk or Tawakkalna App. In addition, visitors are required to disclose their COVID-19 status, with entry approval contingent upon this declaration. Notably, while visits to Masjid e Nabwi remain unaffected, the decision to curtail the number of annual entries to Roza-e-Rasool is a strategic move aimed at managing congestion.
This development responds to the escalating desire among Muslims to visit the holy site. The government’s decision aligns with its preparations for the upcoming Hajj, during which it anticipates hosting a substantial number of pilgrims, exceeding 2 million.
