Punjab Nahi Jaungi is a perfectly crafted romcom that stars Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat in lead roles. The story is all about Humayun Saeed (Fawad Khagga) a Punjabi boy who falls in love with Mehwish Hayat (Amal) a modern Karachite and than follows the test of love, cultural clash and Fawad’s journey to bring Amal to Punjab.
As far as performances are concerned Humayun Saeed steals the show with brilliant acting, career best performance for the star playing Fawad Khagga at its best. On the other hand Mehwish Hayat proves it yet again that she is a powerhouse of talent. Urwa, on the other hand acted naughty yet cute and justified the role very well. Ahmed Ali Butt was great as always in support and a must mention is the performance of legendary Sohail Ahmed whose screen presence, dialogue delivery and humor are a no match, hatss off.
Overall its a film for the masses and will surely bring the audiences back to cinema. The truly amazing screenplay, story, dialogues, music, acting, direction gets the film a spot on 4/5.
