President Asif Ali Zardari has tested positive for Covid-19 and is currently in isolation.
A statement from the Presidency, citing the President’s personal physician, Dr. Asim Hussain, confirmed that multiple tests confirmed the diagnosis. President Zardari is suffering from coronavirus and has been advised to remain in isolation for the time being.
The statement also mentioned that a team of medical experts is closely monitoring the President’s condition, which is reported to be improving.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his prayers for the President’s quick recovery. In his statement, the Prime Minister sent his best wishes to President Zardari and urged the nation to pray for his health and well-being.
