The price of 24 karat gold per tola has risen by Rs500, now trading at Rs325,500. This increase occurred on Thursday, compared to Rs325,000 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
In addition, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold has also gone up by Rs428, reaching Rs279,063, up from Rs278,635. Meanwhile, the cost of 10 grams of 22 karat gold rose by Rs393, from Rs255,424 to Rs255,817.
The prices of silver remain unchanged. The per tola price of silver is steady at Rs3,580, and the price of 10 grams of silver holds firm at Rs3,069.
Looking at the international market, the price of gold has increased by $5, from $3,084 to $3,089. However, the price of silver in the global market has remained the same, standing at $34.10.
