Petrol Prices Slashed by Rs 8 per Litre in Pakistan effective 16th January 2024

In a welcome move for consumers, the caretaker government has announced a significant reduction in petrol prices for the next 15 days. Late on Monday night, the new price for petrol was set at Rs 259.34 per litre, reflecting a substantial Rs 8 reduction per litre.

The Finance Division, following the recommendations of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), revealed the adjusted prices for petroleum products for the upcoming fortnight starting from January 16. Notably, the diesel rate remains unchanged at Rs 276.21 per litre.

    • Existing Price: Rs 267.34 per litre
    • New Price: Rs 259.34 per litre

    • Change: Rs 0
