Pakistan’s biggest sports and entertainment product, Pakistan Super League’s logo & anthem unveiling took place in Lahore. Celebrities like Ali Azmat, Ali Zafar, Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Ayesha Omar, Iman Ali, Aijaz Aslam, Nadia Hussain, Urwa Hussain, Gohar Mumtaz, Farhan Saeed, Abdul Samad, Wali Hamid Ali Khan, Xille, Cybil Chaudhry, from the entertainment industry were spotted at the event like cricket legends & Pakistan’s Men & Women National Cricket Team members also graced the occasion.

With a corporate vision in place, the PSL team put together an exciting show of entertainment in a star studded ceremony in the provincial capital of Punjab. From interesting cricketers & celebrities interactions on stage, to a rocking performance by Ali Zafar on the official anthem, sung & composed by him, the event proved to be the start of a new entertainment filled cricket era. Country’s leading music band, Strings, performed live at the event, mesmerizing the audience with their hit numbers.

To top it all, the event team at HR Signature Events (Event Managers of PSL Logo & Anthem Unveiling Event) had also put together a unique 3D projection mapping of the logo unveiling, plus guests also like the seating arrangement, ambience of the First Edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Logo and Anthem Event which was held in Lahore Expo Center, Event Management by HR Signature Events (A Part of Hanif Rajput Group of Companies) & Catering by HR Caterers, serving in the industry since 1979

Speaking at the launch ceremony held in Lahore, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan said international cricket players would join the PSL, which would benefit national players; we will also expand the spectrum of Pakistan Super League.

Speaking about the event, Chairman Governing Council Mr. Najam Sethi said: “We want everyone to know that we are here and we are here with a purpose. We will not settle for anything less than making PSL one of the leading products that has ever come out of Pakistan.”

The PSL Brand Ambassador Ramiz Raja, who hosted the event with, also spoke about his excitement for the event: “I have experienced cricket and entertainment going together in various parts of the world but to now get associated with a Pakistani product is an entirely different experience. I think Pakistanis will proudly own the PSL.”

The Pakistan Super League is a franchise-based T20 cricket tournament set to take place in UAE from February 4th to 24th February, 2016. Top International Cricket Players will be part of Pakistan’s biggest sports event, the tournament has already started to create a buzz in cricketing circles all across the globe. According to sources 5 teams up for grabs in the first edition of the PSL. The four provincial capitals – Quetta, Lahore, Karachi, and Peshawar – will be joined by Islamabad in a 5-team, 24-match tournament.
