Mera Pakistan Has Won Us Over With This Karaoke Challenge!

Many of us remember the Acappella rendition of Alamgir’s “Khayal Rakhna” by Ali Noor, Rachel Viccaji, Zoe Viccaji, Sara Haider and Ahsan Pervez, which was launched last year around Independence Day. The song was the first-ever song of Strepsils Stereo, introducing a new genre of music to Pakistan, Acappella. Acappella is created using the sounds made through voice variations from the mouth or through stomps and claps.

Strepsils Stereo has made a grand comeback with Season 2 this Independence Day with an original song, “Mera Pakistan” featuring Ali Noor, Kami Paul, Shiraz Uppal, Sara Haider, Ayesha Omer, AhsanParvez, Rabi Pirzada and Kumail Jaffery, featuring 100 Pakistani voices. The song instantly won the hearts of people and filled them with patriotic fire and pride.

‘Mera Pakistan’ has really left a lasting impression over the hearts of millions of Pakistanis. This love for the song was evidently visible when the ‘Mera Pakistan Challenge’ was announced. The internet was clamoring to groove and sing along to the beat of Mera Pakistan in their own way.

The challenge which was announced on Strepsils Pakistan’s Facebook page includes either singing along to the track of Mera Pakistan or creating your own karaoke version of it and sharing it online using #MeraPakistanChallenge. The best entries get a chance to win exciting prizes from Strepsils.
