Hamza Ali Abbasi shares a new truth in a brand new tv campaign released by Lipton with the caption ”Lipton piyo aik baar Bhool jaoge danedaar”. The tvc looks hilarious and directly attacks its competition in a creative manner. We have previously seen telcos and beverage brands coming up with similar ideas and comparitive marketing and now with Tea brands this looks interesting indeed.

I had not expected from Unilever to practice like this. Direct Brand war with Tapal Danedar. Tapaldanedar also did that. Lipton Yellow label Brand manager should understand the target market of Lipton yellow label

what about Supreme, Red Rose, Pearl Dust? I have worked with Unilever and love to work with again after MBA Marketing. But I still like Tapaldanedar Tea.

Unilever Brand Managers should show a creativity, Surf is fighting with Arial, Rafan Best Food Jelly is fighting with National, Lipton direct war with Tapal Danedar Knorr Noodles with Maggi and other brands.

Sunsilk Hair Care Brand not doubt show creativity in every campaign, Lux Brand no doubt excellent campaigns with Fawad Alam and Maera Khan. Lifebuoy no doubt working well for germ protection in the line of hygiene product category. campaign in a creative manner competing Dettol Soap.

Clear Shampoo again goes to the right direction to compete with Head and shoulder in the category of Anti-Dandruff in the range of both male and female with right sponsor Cristiano Ronaldo worlds highest paid footballer

It was a time for Rafan Jelly to be promoted, National jelly has taken an edge over Rafan Jelly in the minds of customers due to continuous TVc’s and Bill Boards of National Jelly at different locations at Karachi. Unilever hires the students of LUMS who cannot go outside to watch market trends but they just sit on the chair in head office.
