By all accounts it looks like a tale of love and spirituality. We see Feroze Khan sitting outside a shrine, expressing some words of other worldly wisdom. His words have great meaning but the expression he carries also tell us a story of pain and anguish. It’s a role we haven’t seen Feroze Khan portray before, so it was certainly chilling in the best way possible.
Opposite our unconventional hero, is Iqra Aziz, shedding her image as the girl next door; she also looks to be taking up a challenging role. Her presence in the 1st look is short and yet deeply impactful. In mere seconds she is making her presence felt. You can feel that she has so much to say but is holding herself back for now. It reflects the innocence and the anxiety of her character.
Directed by Wajahat Hussain, this 7th Sky Entertainment Production is bringing together this new pairing. Two performers who have done highly impressive work in the recent past; it would be interesting to see how they connect in Khuda Aur Mohabbat. Going by the 1st look, we can only say positive things.
Another thing that has got people talking is the fact that the OST is sung by none other than the legendary Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. A tale of spirituality, shot at a shrine and in the background, we will hear the soulful voice of this musical maestro – what more can one ask for really?
