Karachi July 1, 2017: Hassan Rana’s war epic ‘Yalghaar’ is being screened to full houses on foreign territories following a series of premiere shows in the United States and the United Kingdom. Such was the film’s hype that all Eid shows were pre-booked on home soil there is a great demand in all the foreign territories.
Distributed by HUM Films, Yalghaar is ruling in single screen cinemas and multiplexes all across Pakistan since its release and has achieved the highest figures for any Lollywood or Bollywood movie released in Pakistan this year. According to ‘Box Office Detail’ the movie has collected over 7.7 crore in the first four days of its release in Pakistan and has secured the best ‘Thursday’ figures, despite heavy rain in the two main cities of the country. After attending the Islamabad premiere the lead cast and crew of Yalghaar left for the USA and following the houseful premieres in New York and Los Angeles, the team headed for the London premiere at the prestigious Curzon theatre, in Mayfair on June 30.
The series of worldwide premiere shows not only boosted the advance bookings of the movie but also gave audiences a rare chance to interact with their favourite Pakistani celebrities. Yalghaar has so far received an overwhelming response from viewers across the globe and Pakistan. The movie is currently being screened in Pakistan, UK, USA, Canada, Mauritius, Tanzania, Denmark, France, Norway, Sweden, Italy, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Ireland, New Zealand and South Africa.
