As 2014 nears an end, Google recently unveiled a separate section for its list of Best Mobile Applications of 2014. Hunt for good applications in the Playstore is a difficult task for the end user, however this list should make the life easy for both the users and app developers.
The compiled list includes 64 applications in total from almost all main categories such as music, games, social media and utilities. Interestingly, the only application in the list by search giant Google is Google Fit.
Paid apps in this list include 7 Minute Workout Challenge, Afterlight, Amazing World Atlas, djay 2, Facetune, Over, and Ultimate Guitar Tabs & Chords. Other apps who made it to the list are IFTTT, Shazam, Yahoo News Digest, CNN, and Mailbox together with some less popular ones as well. Apps that retained their top spot in the Best Apps of 2014 include Duolingo and Wunderlist.
