PCB Announces Free Entry for Students for Second Test Match Against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced an exciting opportunity for students to watch the second Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh for free. The match is scheduled to take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from August 30 to September 3, 2024. This initiative is part of the PCB’s efforts to encourage students to engage with the sport and witness high-quality cricket action.

Free Entry for Students

Students interested in attending the match will need to wear their school uniforms and bring their educational institution ID cards for verification. They will be granted access to some of the best seats in the stadium, including the VIP enclosures – Imran Khan and Javed Miandad (subject to availability of seats) and the premium enclosures – Miran Baksh, Shoaib Akhtar, Sohail Tanvir, and Yasir Arafat.

However, the free entry policy does not extend to the PCB Gallery or Platinum Box seating areas.

Background: Bangladesh Leads the Series

This second Test is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25. Bangladesh currently leads the two-match series 1-0 after a commanding 10-wicket victory over Pakistan in the first Test match, which concluded on Sunday. With Pakistan looking to level the series, the match promises to be an exciting encounter.
