Small fire breaks out at 60 storeys, Pakistan’s tallest building Bahria Icon tower. Passers by took it to twitter posting random pictures of the smoke that was visible in the vicinity. The intensity of this fire looks not as big as of now. We hope everyone around & inside is safe.
As per news the fire broke out on the eighth floor where a cinema and marriage hall is supposedly under construction. Bahria Icon tower is located in the prime vicinity adjacent to Abdullah Shah Ghazi Mazaar in Clifton, Karachi.
Bahria Icon Tower is a skyscraper located on the coast of the Arabian Sea in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The complex includes 62-storey and 40-storey mixed-used buildings. The 62-storey tower is the tallest building in Pakistan based on a four acre plot in the up-scale Clifton area. The complex is owned by the Bahria Town Group.
The building consists of 10 floors of serviced corporate offices, 40 floors of serviced apartments, Pakistan’s highest located terraced restaurant, a double-decker high speed elevator, and a shopping mall.
