According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 198.25 and Rs 200.25 respectively.
Moreover, the price of Euro depreciated by Rs 0.48 and closed at Rs 213.97 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 214.45.
Meanwhile, Japanese Yen lost one paisa to close at Rs 1.56, whereas a decrease of Rs 0.67 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was being traded at Rs 251.35 as compared to its last closing of Rs 252.02.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal decreased by 18 paisas to close at Rs 54.19 and Rs 53.07 respectively.
