Omoda has introduced the Omoda 7 PHEV in Pakistan, expanding its local lineup with a new plug in hybrid SUV. The new model will sit above the Omoda 5 and targets buyers looking for a premium hybrid vehicle.
The company unveiled the SUV ahead of its official launch. It will announce the price, booking details, and launch date later in August.
Hybrid system offers impressive performance
The Omoda 7 PHEV combines a 1.5 liter turbocharged petrol engine with a dedicated hybrid transmission. Together, they produce 341 horsepower and 525 Nm of torque.
The SUV uses an 18.4 kWh battery pack that delivers an electric only driving range of more than 90 kilometers under the WLTP standard.
Drivers can travel up to 1,200 kilometers with a fully charged battery and a full fuel tank. This extended range makes the SUV suitable for both city driving and long distance travel.
Premium features enhance the driving experience
The Omoda 7 PHEV measures 4,660 mm in length and 1,875 mm in width. It also offers a wheelbase of 2,720 mm, creating a spacious cabin for passengers.
The SUV rides on stylish 20 inch alloy wheels and includes a panoramic sunroof.
Inside, buyers will find a 15.6 inch infotainment display with the unique Glide Function. This feature allows the screen to slide toward the front passenger for easier access and added convenience.

The cabin also offers a modern design that focuses on comfort and technology.
Safety features and launch plans
Omoda equips the SUV with eight airbags to improve passenger protection.
The company also plans to offer advanced driver assistance systems. These include Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Blind Spot Monitoring. These technologies help improve safety and support the driver during daily travel.
Omoda will reveal the official price, booking schedule, and launch date during the vehicle’s official launch event in August.
