Exchange rate of Pak Rupee strengthened by Rs1.32 against the US Dollar in the interbank trading on Wednesday and closed at Rs 201.5 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 202.82.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 202.1 and Rs 204.1 respectively.
The price of Euro depreciated by Rs 1.29 and closed at Rs 215.35 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 216.66.
Meanwhile, Japanese Yen lost two paisas to close at Rs 1.50, whereas a decrease of 48 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 252.43 as compared to its last closing of Rs 252.91.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal decreased by 36 paisas to close at Rs 54.86 and Rs 53.72 respectively.
