German actor Christian Oliver alongside his two daughters die in a tragic plane crash

In a devastating turn of events, renowned German actor Christian Oliver, recognized for his role in the Cobra 11 television series, met a tragic end alongside his two daughters in a plane crash in the Caribbean. The incident unfolded on Thursday when a small aircraft, carrying Oliver, his daughters, and pilot Robert Sachs, crashed shortly after takeoff from J.F. Mitchell Airport in Bequia, a small island part of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force reported that the single-engine plane encountered difficulties moments after departure, plunging into the ocean off the coast of Bequia. The crash claimed the lives of 10-year-old Madita Klepser, 12-year-old Annik Klepser, and pilot Robert Sachs, in addition to Christian Oliver.

Efforts from local fishermen, divers, and the St. Vincent and Grenadines Coast Guard were acknowledged by the police in their recovery mission. The bodies were taken to Kingstown Mortuary for post-mortem examinations to determine the causes of death.

Born Christian Klepser in Germany, Christian Oliver’s acting career spanned various TV series and films, including roles in “Saved by the Bell: The New Class,” “Hunters,” “The Outpost,” and “Sense8.” His diverse portfolio also extended to movies like “Rattlesnakes,” “Animal Among Us,” “Valkyrie,” and “The Good German,” as well as video games like “Medal of Honor: Underground” and “Call of Duty: WWII.”
