WAKING DEAD is Pakistan’s First Comedy & Horror Zombie Based Movie.
The trend of horror movies gained pace in Pakistan with the release of Zibah Khana, Zinda Laash and Siyaah. However, this time around one horrific fun flick is all set to hit theatres soon. This movie called Waking Dead has been directed by independent film-maker Usman Mukhtar.
The movie has been shot in Dubai and features Dubai-based actors Nidhi Jha, Nadia Williams and Nitin Mirani in lead roles. Waking Dead is a collaborative project of Usman Mukhtar and Muse Dubai.

A zomcom in particular, hasn’t been shot on this scale locally, making it a great collaboration between South Asia and the Middle East, based on talent.
