As per news reports circulating all over social media two Indian fighter Jets were shot down by Pakistan this morning for violating airspace & one Indian pilot was also arrested by Pakistani troops as per reports. As per sources one Jet fell in Azad Jammu & Kashmir, whereas the second one fell in Indian occupied Kashmir.
The director general (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor confirmed the same in a Tweet that stated:-
”In response to PAF strikes this morning as released by MoFA, IAF crossed LOC. PAF shot down two Indian aircrafts inside Pakistani airspace. One of the aircraft fell inside AJ&K while other fell inside IOK. One Indian pilot arrested by troops on ground while two in the area.”

Earlier, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited Line of Control. Reviewed state of preparedness. Lauded high morale of troops stating: “Pakistan is a peace loving country but we will not be intimidated or coerced. Any aggression or misadventure shall be paid back in same coin”, COAS.
