Uraan Episode 1: Its All About Greed, Aspirations & Dreams

7th Sky Entertainment is back with yet another enthralling drama serial titled ”Uraan” that aired its first episode last night 31st August 2020. Uraan will be aired every Monday to Friday at 9 PM, on Geo Entertainment.

Storyline of Uraan

‘Uraan’ narrates the story of three siblings – Malka, Aqeel, and Manahil. The eldest among the lot is Malka – who follows her heart and has big aspirations in life. Despite being engaged, she is not interested in her fiancé Sajawal. Then there is Aqeel, who is always busy finding shortcuts to make things work. The youngest among the siblings is Manahil, who believes in hard work and has her priorities straight unlike her elder siblings. As Malka and Aqeel continue to make bad decisions and fall prey to greediness, Manahil is left to suffer alone.

‘Uraan’ explores the themes of greed, disloyalty, and deception, penned down by the brilliant Jahanzaib Qamar, and exceptionally directed by Shaqielle Khan. The ensemble cast includes Adeel Chaudhry and Kinza Hashmi in the lead, with Aijaz Aslam, Farhan Malhi, Rubina Ashraf, Zainab Qayyum, Nida Mumtaz, Lubna Aslam, Ainy Zaidi, and Muhammad Usama Khan in pivotal roles.

Coming from a middle class family, Malka has aspirations and dreams of living a lavish lifestyle. Along with Malka, her elder brother Aqeel is also constantly trying to find shortcuts to break free from their economic situation. Manahil, their youngest sibling, however chooses to think differently and believes in hard work.

Despite being engaged to Asim, whom Malka dislikes, she still hopes to meet the man of her dreams some day. Amidst all the chaos created by Malka and Aqeel, Manahil is left to suffer.

Will Malka and Aqeel ever realize their mistakes or will they fall prey to even more greed? After experiencing disloyalty and deception at the hands of Malka, will Asim leave her or will he give her another chance? Find out more in the upcoming episodes of Uraan.
