Geo TV is preparing to launch its upcoming drama serial Tapish, featuring Laiba Khan and Muneeb Butt in lead roles. Produced by Irum Binte Shahid for Geo Productions, the drama comes from writer Rehana Aftab and director Ahmed Bhatti.
The story follows a spoiled young man who falls in love with a kind and innocent girl from a modest background. The drama combines romance, emotions, and family challenges, making it one of Geo TV’s anticipated upcoming projects.
Star cast brings together popular television actors
Tapish features a strong lineup of actors from Pakistan’s television industry. The main cast includes Laiba Khan, Muneeb Butt, Saad Qureshi, Tipu Sharif, Sharmeen Ali, Paras Masroor, Saba Faisal, and Faran Tahir.
Laiba Khan returns to television with this project after her recent marriage. She gained popularity through successful dramas such as Kaffara, Aas Paas, Humraaz, Baylagaam, and Mera Dil Mera Dushman.
Muneeb Butt also takes on a major role in the drama. Viewers know him for his performances in Kaisa Hai Naseeban, Shiddat, Baandi, Baddua, and Koi Chand Rakh.
Saad Qureshi joins the cast after appearing in several popular productions, including Bismil, Woh Pagal Si, Pukar, and Khuda Aur Muhabbat.
Experienced supporting cast strengthens the project
Tipu Sharif adds further depth to the cast. The actor has earned praise for dramas such as Akbari Asghari, Baba Jani, Sang e Mar Mar, and Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi.
Sharmeen Ali also plays an important role in the serial. Audiences recognize her from projects including Pyar Ke Sadqay, Ruswai, Pardes, and Zara Yaad Kar.
Paras Masroor continues to impress viewers with his versatile performances. His notable dramas include Mayi Ri, Pehli Si Muhabbat, Mere Damad, and Sang e Mar Mar.

Internationally known actor Faran Tahir completes the cast. He has appeared in major global productions such as Iron Man, Star Trek, Elysium, and The Jungle Book. He recently expanded his presence in Pakistani television through local drama projects.
Tapish schedule and timings
Geo TV plans to begin airing Tapish in June. The channel will broadcast two episodes every week.
Each episode will run for approximately 40 minutes. Viewers can watch the drama every Monday and Tuesday at 8:00 PM.
With a compelling storyline, experienced actors, and a prime time slot, Tapish enters the television lineup with strong expectations. Fans of Laiba Khan, Muneeb Butt, and the supporting cast will soon get the chance to watch the drama unfold on Geo TV.
