Restaurants, shopping malls must shut down at 10pm, says NCOC amid rising coronavirus cases.
Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Asad Umar said on Thursday that after more than 70 days the national COVID positivity ratio was higher than three percent yesterday. The total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan on Thursday were recorded 11,695 as 908 more people were tested positive for the deadly virus during the last 24 hours.
The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) imposed new restrictions as Covid-19 cases spike in the country – NCOC ordered all shopping malls, restaurants, shops and marriage halls to shut by 10 pm from today (Thursday) 29th Oct 2020. The forum also ordered to shut parks and recreational spots by 6 pm from Thursday.
Keeping in view the second wave of Covid19 and the numbers on a rise we urge the general public must wear face mask while visiting public places and maintain social distancing.
