A dramatic rescue video from Turkey has gone viral after a bakery worker jumped into a moving driverless truck to stop what could have turned into a serious accident.

Bakery worker notices truck rolling downhill
According to reports, the pickup truck had been parked on a sloped street without its handbrake properly secured. Moments later, the vehicle began rolling downhill without a driver inside.
The bakery worker noticed the moving truck while standing outside his workplace.
Without hesitation, he ran after the vehicle, opened the driver’s side door, climbed inside, and applied the brakes while the truck was still moving.
The truck finally stopped just a short distance before reaching parked vehicles, buildings, and pedestrians nearby.
