This time, however, her recreation of the popular Bollywood song Chikni Chameli sparked an unexpected wave of trolling. In the video, filmed inside a hotel room, Reham wore a green woollen cropped sweater and plain pants as she performed upbeat dance steps with exaggerated expressions. She captioned it:
“Trip k last day TikTok bnaya, yad agya / Just remembered the dance I did on the last day of my trip, recreating it again.”
While her energy was high, social media users quickly turned the video into a meme fest. Many criticised her dance moves and facial expressions, with comments ranging from sarcastic to outright harsh. One user joked that doctors refused to treat her and she had “returned to TikTok.” Another compared her moves to the dancing monkeys seen in childhood street shows.
Several users also questioned why an actress with notable screen presence would post such content, while others pointed out that online criticism only boosts her views and reach, so she likely doesn’t mind. Some even dragged her husband into the discussion, asking how he “tolerates it.”
Many viewers also mentioned that the video looks “even funnier” when played at 2x speed with no sound, further fueling the trolling trend.
Despite the negativity, the clip continues to circulate widely across TikTok and Instagram, proving once again that Reham Rafiq’s content always finds a way to create buzz—whether through praise or controversy.
