PSX loses 744 points to close at 45,745 points

PSX Summary 22nd Nov 2021: The KSE 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed bearish trend on Monday, losing 744 points, with a negative change of 1.60 percent, closing at 45,745 points against 46,489.41 points on the last working day.

A total of 261,901,155 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 304,213,325 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs10.940 billion against Rs 11.997 billion the previous day.

As many as 344 companies’ transacted shares in the stock market,70 of them recorded gain and 263 sustained losses whereas the share price of 11 companies remained unchanged.

The three top trading companies were TRG Pak Ltd with a volume of 22,372,983 shares and price per share of Rs 95.51, Byco Petroleum with a volume of 21,603,000 and price per share of Rs 6.83 and TPL Properties XB with volume of 15,812,000 and price per share of Rs 49.46.

Rafhan Maize witnessed a maximum increase of Rs 100 per share, closing at Rs 9 600 whereas the runner up was Sapphire Tex, the share prices of which climbed up by Rs 83.68 to Rs 1199.60.

Pak Tobacco XD witnessed maximum decrease of Rs 5012 closing Rs 1086.53 followed by Sapphire Fiber, the share price of which declined by Rs 48.97 to close at Rs 898.03.
