PSX Summary 22nd April 2022: The KSE 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed bearish trend on Friday, losing 99.60 points, with negative change of 0.22 percent, closing at 45,553.02 points against 45,652.62 points on the last working day.
A total of 217,565,712 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 186,431,158 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs 5.296 billion against Rs5.621 billion on last trading day.
As many as 316 companies transacted shares in the stock market, 162 of them recorded gain and 132 sustained losses, whereas the share price of 22 companies remained unchanged.
The three top trading companies were Cnergyico Pk with a volume of 23,649,550 and price per share of Rs 6.66, Hum Network with a volume of 23,608,000 and price per share of Rs8.21 and Lotte Chemical with volume of 19,593,500 and price per share of Rs 19.01.
Rafhan MaizeXD witnessed a maximum increase of Rs350 per share, closing at Rs 11,800 whereas the runner up was Nestle Pakistan, the share prices of which climbed up by Rs 117.13 to Rs 5,618.13.
Pak Services witnessed maximum decrease of Rs 125.25, closing at Rs1,544.75 followed by Colgate Palm, the share price of which declined by Rs110 to close at Rs2,225.
