Pakistani film ''Ishq Positive'' is a must watch Musical entertainer

Pakistani film ”Ishq Positive” released nationwide on July 22, 2016 is undoubtedly an outstanding effort by Noor Bukhari as a director and leading lady, Wali Hamid Ali Khan (marking his acting debut did not disappoint at all), HUM Films, KSL and Eveready along with the entire cast and crew who have successfully brought to the audiences of Pakistan a sweet musical romantic comedy film.

Despite reading various bizzare comments/negative reviews on the film, we team trendinginsocial.com, a bit late but finally decided and watched IP today and to our surprise the film is brilliant with mind blowing music brilliantly composed and sung by Pakistan’s finest artistes including Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ustaad Hamid Ali Khan, Wali Hamid Ali Khan, Damia Farooq, Ragaboyz, Sana Zulfiqar, Farah Anwer, famous Indian singer Akriti Kakar, Kamran Akhtar and Saaji Ali. Some critics did not like there being many songs in the film but in our opinion all 8 songs in the film were perfectly timed and very well shot with some beautiful compositions and vocals not at all boring.

A 5/5 is what we rate IP’s music. Incase, someone missed here is a glance at 3 of our favorite songs from Ishq Positive 1) Raab diyaan raab jane” sung by the maestro Rahat Feteh Ali khan & famous Indian playback singer Akriti kakar 2) “Dil ka panchi” the title song which created quite a stir and had been trending since it was unveiled, sung by Wali Hamid Ali khan & Damia Farooq 3) “Noor e khudda” sung by Wali Hamid Ali khan & Akriti Kakar.

All in all IP is not at all negative as portrayed by some of the critics, the 2 hourly film is not even dragged as we saw some recent Pakistani flicks being un necessarily dragged to the fullest to make it a 3 hourly film. Talking about the story well yes it is a no much complicated but a simple love triangle between Rajjo (Noor Bukhari), Wali (Wali Hamid Ali Khan) and Zara (Faria Bukhari) sister of Chaudhry of the village (Saud Qasmi) who pays a lite villian in IP and one must not forget the cameo in the film by Bollywood’s Sonu Sood is another positive in Ishq Positive.

Rating and comparing it with other released Pakistani films in the last 2 years, Ishq Positive though being under rated by some is performing quite well all across Pakistan and running successfully since 3 weeks. We rate IP 4/5.

The music says it all so go visit your nearest cinema and brace yourself with the most entertaining musical film of the year.
