PSX loses 366 points to close at 45,362 points

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) opens up an office in Peshawar

Provincial Finance Minister Taimur Khan Jhagra on Wednesday said that Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has opened office in Peshawar.

In a statement , he said, ” PSX (Pakistan Stock Exchange) is now open in Peshawar. We worked two years for this. A huge honour to be at the PSX ceremony to celebrate the event. For both investors and firms, this opens up equity markets and is yet another step to put Peshawar on Pakistan’s economic map”.

He said on behalf of Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has invited the PSX team to Peshawar to formally inaugurate the office as part of engagement with the Karachi financial and land business community. “More so this is at a time when KP will have its first IPO since the 2006 IPO of Bank of Khyber”.

Taimur Jhagra said provincial province has taken steps for ease of doing business and lucrative investment opportunities.

He said under the leadership of Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, new opportunities were being provided to investors and business community.

He said investors and major companies from all over the country would be invited to invest in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
