Pakistan Army Secures Top Position at UK Pacesticking Competition

The Pakistan Army team, represented by the Pakistan Military Academy, secured first place at the International Pacesticking Competition 2026 held at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations, the Pakistan Military Academy team achieved top honors in the annual event and outperformed teams from several countries participating in the competition.

PMA team secures major awards at Sandhurst

The Pakistan Army contingent won the overall team trophy along with individual awards for Best Pace Sticker and Best Driver.

Major Haider Gulzar, Adjutant of the Pakistan Military Academy, led the nine member team during the international event. A total of 16 teams from different countries participated in the competition this year.

The annual competition tests military drill precision, coordination, discipline, and ceremonial performance standards among participating military academies.

Officials said the victory reflects the high level of professional training and discipline maintained by the Pakistan Army and the Pakistan Military Academy.

Achievement adds to recent international recognition

The latest success comes shortly after another major international achievement by a Pakistan Army cadet.

Earlier, Pakistan Army cadet Sardar Arsam Abbas received recognition as the best foreign military cadet at the Royal Military College Duntroon in Canberra, Australia.

The award honors the highest performing foreign cadet across all areas of military training. It recognizes professionalism, discipline, leadership, and overall performance.

The Pakistan Army has frequently participated in international military competitions and training programs in recent years. Such achievements often strengthen professional ties between military institutions and showcase training standards on global platforms.
