This false declaration blocked his CNIC and listed him as deceased, preventing him from accessing basic services.
Malik discovered the issue immediately upon arrival. He could not use his identity documents for banking, travel, or other official matters. Feeling wronged, he decided to take legal action to restore his identity and hold those responsible accountable.
He filed a case in the Sindh High Court, requesting authorities to correct his records and investigate the fraudulent declaration. A criminal case has also been registered against family members allegedly involved in the incident.
The court has now issued notices to NADRA and other relevant authorities. They have four weeks to explain how the error occurred and outline the steps to fix it. Malik hopes the legal process will help him reclaim his identity and secure his rights.
