Nawaz Sharif, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan and President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), extends his stay in London due to ongoing health issues. Reports confirm that Sharif is undergoing regular medical evaluations by international specialists, which leads to his decision to reschedule his return to Pakistan.
Originally, Sharif had planned a two-week visit to London, arriving earlier this month from Belarus. However, after receiving medical assessments, his healthcare providers recommended an extended stay for further treatment and monitoring.
Alongside his medical care, Sharif is reportedly engaging in political discussions with PML-N leadership. The party’s UK chapter plans to organize a workers’ convention in his honor. On April 12, PML-N UK leaders, including Ahsan Dar, welcomed Sharif at Luton Airport.
This development highlights Sharif’s continued influence in Pakistan’s political scene. His extended stay in London reflects both his health concerns and his ongoing involvement in political affairs.
