A shocking tragedy unfolded in Khairpur, Sindh, where a Khairpur Woman allegedly shot dead her husband and four children before taking her own life. The incident has left the local community in disbelief, highlighting the devastating consequences of domestic conflicts.
According to initial reports, police discovered six bodies belonging to a well-known business family at their residence on Tuesday. The victims were identified as 35-year-old businessman Naveed Arain, his wife Aqsa, and their four children. Ali Sher, Ahmed Ali, Muhammad Musa, and Mubashra, aged between six and fourteen.
Family tragedy shocks Sindh as police investigate motive
Authorities say all victims suffered fatal gunshot wounds. Station House Officer Nazir Mangi of A-Section Police Station confirmed that officers reached the scene after neighbours reported gunfire. “When the team entered the house, all six members were found dead in separate rooms,” he said.
Investigators believe that Khairpur Woman Aqsa used her husband’s licensed firearm in the murder-suicide. “The position of her body and forensic evidence indicate she first shot her family before turning the weapon on herself,” SHO Nazir explained.

Police believe the tragedy stemmed from a domestic dispute after Aqsa allegedly accused her husband of infidelity. The couple operated well-known businesses in Sukkur.
