Humaima Malick to charm small screen in India … Even though her Bollywood debut ‘Raja Natwarlal’ opposite Emraan Hashmi did not perform good numbers at the box office , however this lady is gaining some popularity across the border. As per reports Humaima Malick is set to perform on the smaller screen with a daily soap titled ‘Ijaazat’. Humaima will be playing the character of Pares Usmani, who in a love triangle between the lead pair in the show which is set to be televised on the most favorite indo-pak tv channel these days ‘Zindagi’. Ijaazat is the same show on which Humaima Malick debuted with on Pakistani TV.

‘Ijaazat’ is the story of Sahil, a film director and his writer wife, Seep. Sahil and Seep are madly in love with each other. Once Seep writes a character of the woman who fits her husband’s dream a girl called Diya. Sahil gets obsessed with finding the perfect girl to play Diya and in due course meets Pares (Malick) and is enamoured with her. Pares ends up disturbing Sahil Seep’s marriage.

The actress has a series of Bollywood projects in the pipeline that includes film ‘Sher’ directed by Soham Shah, a film with Vidhu Vinod Chopra, besides this a Pakistani film titled ‘Mission Allahu Akbar’.
