2. Overcoming design challenges for the most optimized design

Huawei’s design engineers faced several challenges when trying to fit the 5.99-inch FullView Display into the 5.5-inch compact body of HUAWEI Y7 Prime 2018. After numerous attempts, the engineers came up with the most optimal solution where the size and location of the opening slit of the battery cover was adjusted, leaving more space to fit in the antenna.

 

3. A beautiful device with sleek and thin body

1)   The device features a sleek body with an integrated design and hidden antenna. It also marks Huawei’s first time to adopt TAS technology on entry-level devices for a comfortable grip.

2) NCVM coating technology was applied to the device’s mid-frame, which not only results in a beautiful chrome metal-like finish but scratch-proof durability.

3) CNC diamond cut process was performed to achieve precise finishing with less than 0.1mm discrepancies.
