Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) has officially launched the GAC Aion and Hyptec electric vehicle lineup in Pakistan. This launch introduces multiple new energy vehicles to the local auto market. As a result, Pakistan’s EV segment continues to expand with more international brands entering the industry.
Entry of a major Chinese EV brand
GAC, a leading Chinese automobile manufacturer, has entered Pakistan through its partnership with Lucky Motor Corporation. The company specializes in electric vehicles and advanced battery technology. Therefore, this launch marks an important step for the country’s shift toward electric mobility.
Moreover, the introduction of Aion and Hyptec brands shows a clear focus on modern transportation solutions. These models target customers looking for technology-driven and energy-efficient vehicles.
Official bookings and model prices announced
Lucky Motor Corporation has started bookings for four electric vehicle models. However, the company will announce pricing for one additional sedan at a later stage.
The Aion UT enters the market at Rs. 6,399,000. Customers can book it with Rs. 1,000,000. In addition, the Aion V comes with a price tag of Rs. 8,899,000 and requires Rs. 1,500,000 for booking.
Meanwhile, the premium Hyptec lineup also joins the market. The Hyptec HT Ultra Gullwing is priced at Rs. 13,999,000 with a booking amount of Rs. 2,500,000. On the other hand, the Hyptec HT Elite is available at Rs. 11,999,000 and requires Rs. 2,000,000 for booking.
The company has confirmed that it will reveal the price of the Aion ES sedan soon. Until then, customers can explore the currently available models.
Strategic expansion in Pakistan’s EV market
This launch follows a formal agreement between Lucky Motor Corporation and Guangzhou Automobile Group. Through this partnership, GAC has officially expanded its presence in Pakistan’s automotive sector.
